andrenator: Isn’t this against immigration…? Unless it’s trying to depict what happened to the native americans as a good thing. I keep thinking that, too, but I’m pretty sure it’s about how America/whitey has expressed those problems with immigration, and extended that solution, when we did the same thing to get here. Like, it’s dark, but it could even then be trying to say we came with worse intentions to people with open arms, while we attempt to close our borders to those seeking the increasingly elusive American dream. That being said, were still a better economic climate than a lot of the places the people coming here are leaving, but whatever.
